Welcome to my blog! I originally wanted to call the blog 'SOS to the World', the title of my upcoming trip abroad, however this name was already taken...probably by the Police.
My trip begins June 7, 2009, from NYC and I come home to Philadelphia in March, 2010. I am both excited and anxious as I book my flights and arrange my visits and volunteer opportunities, but I know this is something I need to do for myself. I think about how grateful I am to leave such a grand life behind in the States and for all the support I get from family and friends. I will miss you all everyday, but I hope to keep in touch with you through this blog.
